Reading Time: 4 minutes

It’s day 5 of Blogmas and also Tuesday Tens. I haven’t done Tuesday tens since my first post that I did for it but I’m back for it. As a musically obsessed individual, today I will be sharing ten gift ideas for music lovers.

Gift #1: Songwriting Book

It felt fitting to have this be number one. A book about songwriting or how to write songs would be perfect for anyone musically inclined. Songwriting books come in different types of forms. Some books cater to those who’s never written a song and some books cater to those who have been writing for a while. These books talk about everything that you need to know about creating a song from how to come up with ideas, how to write a verse, chorus, bridge, and the list goes on.

My recommendations include Songwriting Without Boundaries by Pat Pattison and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Art of Songwriting: Hone Your Craft and Reach for Your Goals-Creative, Commercial, or Both by Casey Kelly and David Hodge. Songwriting For Dummies by Jim Peterik, Dave Austin and Cathy Lynn is another good book that’s worth reading. From what I can remember it also comes with a disc. While I haven’t had the book, I would also like to recommend 1000 Songwriting Ideas by Lisa Aschmann. The book includes ideas, exercises, and more to help songwriters craft a song.

Gift #2: Record Player

This might be something pricy depending on how much one is trying to spend. However, I feel like it’s up there as a perfect gift for the music lover in your life that you love. For the past few years, vinyls have been making a strong comeback. It’s been an amazing thing to see where you can hear about your favorite releasing a new project and not only can you get a CD but you can get the vinyl version as well. I don’t know about other music lovers but personally speaking, I’ve been wanting a record player for a while now.

Gift #3: Game That Song

Game That Song is an interactive card game that’s fun for the entire family. With the game, you have a set of cards and each card tells you to play the topic that’s mentioned on the card. The person in charge of judging the round has to pick a card and whatever topic is mentioned on the card, each player has to play a song from their phone that they think is fitting.

Gift #4: Concert Journal

A concert journal is the perfect gift for anyone who loves and enjoys going to concerts. Concert journals let concertgoers keep track of any concerts that they’ve attended. Some of the information that can be included includes the main information such as the artists, date of the concert, seat price, favorite memory, and things of that nature. There’s an app that allows you to keep track of concerts but a journal that you can store away is just as good as well.

Gift #5: Noise-Canceling Headphones

Noise-canceling headphones are a perfect gift for anyone who just doesn’t want to be bothered by outside noises.

Gift #6: Spotify or Apple Music Gift Card

Honestly, this can be a gift card to any music streaming service that the person in your life uses. Nearly all streaming services have gift cards available such as Pandora, SIRIUS/XM, Tidal, Pandora, etc. It’s the perfect gift for those who might not be able to afford to get unlimited music without ads.

Gift #7: Merch From Favorite Artist

Whether it’s merch from a new album release or concert merch, merch from someone’s favorite artist can be the perfect gift. Merch comes in different forms including vinyl records, CDs, shirts, bags, posters, and more. If you don’t know the person you’re getting a gift for, your favorite artist then either you can ask them or use your best guess. There’s a possibility that they might be okay with merch from any music artist out there.

Gift #8: Concert Tickets

This probably should’ve been higher up on the list but regardless, it made it on. Concert tickets can be one of the perfect gifts for anyone who loves going to concerts or might’ve never been to one before. That’s not to say that anyone out there wouldn’t enjoy it because a lot of music lovers will. And in this case, you don’t have to know their favorite music artist. As long as you know their favorite music genre(s) and who they don’t like listening to, go for it. Buy them a concert and maybe one for yourself. VIP is completely optional.

Gift #9: Music Jewelry

Jewelry that’s based around music could be a great gift for those who love music and also enjoy wearing jewelry. These can come in the form of rings, necklaces, charm bracelets, etc. In addition to that, it can range from music notes to quotes that have to do with music.

Gift #10: Personalized Spotify Keychain or Plaque

A personalized Spotify keychain or plaque allows you to do multiple things when you’re personalizing it. First and foremost, you can choose any picture that you would want to go on it. That way you can choose a picture of you and the person you’re giving it to or you can simply choose a picture of them. Next, you’re allowed to put in the song and artist that you would like to appear on it. The best part of the personalized Spotify item is that it comes with a scannable code. When someone scans the code it takes them to the song. It’s the perfect way to tell the receiver that the song reminds you of them.

In Conclusion

That concludes ten gifts that anyone could give to the music lover in their life. There are so many more gifts that could be perfect from tumblers that feature quotes to lamps shaped like a guitar. I hope that this list was helpful to someone reading these. Do you have a music lover in your life or are you the music lover in someone else’s? Feel free to let me know in the comments below.
