Happy Birthday to me! I’m 33 years old as of today. I know I don’t look but it’s the truth! I’ve sat with posting my goals to my blog since the beginning of the year. However, eventually, I decided that my year didn’t start on January 1st and I’d rather my birthday be the official start of my new year. Today for my birthday, here are my goals for the year.
Personal Goals
- Read at least ten books
- Start meditating or doing yoga
- Do at least one photoshoot this year
- Do Duolingo for at least an hour a day
- Relearn and learn more ASL
- Relearn how to sew
- Listen to a podcast at least once a week
- Do one thing that scares me once a month
Creative / Career Goals
- Pitch ideas for writing publications that interest me
- Contribute as much as I can to Grrrl Music’s Street Grrrl Music Club and Ballad Magazine
- Enter a writing contest
- Build a plan to start an online magazine
- Get more into my songwriting craft
- Brainstorm book/novel ideas and try to start writing my first book
Blogging Goals
- Post a blog post at least three times a week
- Participate in a blogging challenge
- Promote my blog and blog posts
- Start writing reviews on the blog
Content Creator Goals
- Start using a content calendar
- Post more on Instagram and Threads
- Do monthly challenges that interest me
- Start my content creator journey
- Build a community
- Declutter my YouTube channel
- Collab with other content creators
Misc Goals
- Reorganize my Spotify playlists every few weeks and create new playlists for others to enjoy potentially
- Accomplish a majority if not all, of the goals listed above
- Remember to dream and work hard to make both my dreams and goals a reality
