In the words of Green Day, “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” I would be lying if I was to say September isn’t a bad month for me in general because, over the past few years (since 2023) it’s been exactly that.
However, this year it wasn’t that bad. Or at least I want to think it wasn’t that bad.
September Reflection
Describing my September is hard, but if I had to narrow it down to one word it would be hopeful. I’ve been in a bit of a writing slump cause work has been taking my creativity and energy but at the same time I’ve been managing.
Encore Moments
My hair! Getting my hair done is worthy of an encore moment cause I love it so much. It’s been a long time coming to get my hair braided with knotless braids. At first I was just going to go with rose gold but when I got to my favorite beauty supply store and saw so many colors there I ultimately decided on rose gold and moody sky blue because it felt so tight.
People have been saying it reminds them of cotton candy and you know what? I love that it does.
