Reading Time: 5 minutes

As of today, there are only 54 days left of the year. That means that if you’ve been wanting to jumpstart, restart, or get back into doing something that you’ve been putting off for a while now – now, is the perfect opportunity to do that and more.

What This Means For Me

Personally speaking, that means a number of things. The main one is being consistent, not only with my blog but with my social media accounts. I started with my Instagram account at the beginning of the year but fell off drastically. However, now I’m ready or at least I think I’m ready, to make things happen for me. I want to grow my accounts organically, I want to be consistent and stay consistent, and I want to take to the journey of becoming an amazing content creator that I know I envision myself becoming.

When it comes to my blog, that’s the main thing that I want to do especially. I have a lot of things that I want to talk about on my blog – the good, the bad, and the in-between. However, I also want to inspire and entertain others with it. I haven’t started the Alphabet Superset challenge but it’s something that I plan on doing before the month is over. I’m hoping that by the time the last day of the year gets here, I’ll be all caught up with each letter that I need to have done. Until then, stay tuned for that.

Why Tuesday Tens?

Why am I saying all of this? Because starting today I’m going to start being consistent with everything. For the past few months or maybe for the past year now, I’ve been wanting to introduce themed days for the days of the week. Tuesdays specifically will be considered Tuesday Tens. For a while now, I’ve been wanting to start creating lists for multiple things. Here is my chance to do exactly that and more. Each week, I will do a Tuesday 10 featuring a different topic each week.

The first Tuesday tens post will be about my November and December goals. I have a lot of goals that I would like to accomplish before the year is over. I can’t say that they’ll be in order of what’s more important to me because each and every one of them shares an importance.

November And December Goals

  • Begin doing themed days for my blog

This is a goal that I’m excited to make happen. The first one that I’m going to be introducing is this one that I’m doing today – Tuesday Tens. I’m hoping that any and everyone that’s reading this post right now enjoys this post and what will be coming in the future.

  • Read two LGBTQIA+ books

I had a plan for reading a number of books this year. However, I couldn’t decide on what books I wanted to read. After buying more books, something happened to the fact that I had to put all of my books into a storage unit. So far I’ve begun reading You Should See Me In A Crown by Leah Johnson. It’s a book that I still have to finish and plan on finishing soon. The second book that centers around an LGBTQIA+ character is called You’re Not Supposed Tonight by Kalynn Bayron.

  • Promote my blog and blog posts at least once a week

So far, I would have to say that I’ve been doing a good job when it comes to doing this. I’ve joined a few Facebook groups over the past couple of months and have been trying to promote my blog, if not my blog posts at least once a week. I’ve also been making sure that I check out what other people have written. One thing about me is that I’m going to support others regardless of whether or not they return the favor.

  • Post a feed post and reel at least once a week

This is one of those goals that I want to make happen in one way to another. As I said before, I want to strive to become a great content creator. It isn’t something that’s going to happen overnight but it will happen if I try to be consistent with posting to my feed whether it’s a static post or a reel on Instagram. I have a lot of things that I want to talk about as well as post about that I need to get in order to make it happen. Will it happen? It will, and I’m going to push myself for it to.

  • Pitch to a few publications

If we’re being honest here which we are, I’ve been out of a job since the beginning of September. That isn’t something that I’m ready to get into as of yet. However, I will say that when it comes to things that I want to do in the long run with my life – I would love to write for magazines and publications online that I have an interest in.

  • Try to write a song and/or a poem each week

I won’t lie. This is a goal that I had for the year but I haven’t fully put into motion. By fully, I mean that I started writing a song and even a poem but I have yet to expand or finish any of what I’ve started working on. It’s something that I want to do. I want to be able to sit down and simply write my entire heart out. I don’t care if it’s in the form of a poem or the form of a song. I simply want to make it all happen.

  • Make sure that I do at least one Duolingo lesson a day to maintain my streak

If I was to sit here and say what day I’m on when it comes to my Duolingo streak chances are that there’s going to be someone who doesn’t believe me unless they were to see it. I like learning new languages and I also enjoy having a high streak count just to say that I’ve accomplished something. My goal when it comes to Duolingo is to make it to have a two-year streak in it and without having to use one of my freezes again.

  • Do Blogmas

I’m not entirely sure if this is something that I want to do or not. The main reason is because I don’t know too many things I would want to write about for it. Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas. It’s one of my favorite holidays. However, while I could come up with ideas for it and even search for Blogmas ideas, I wouldn’t want to force myself to do it if my heart’s not completely in what I’m going to be writing about.

  • Declutter my devices

From my phone to my laptop to my iPad there are a number of things that I won’t either close or get rid of. I can tell you right here and right now that when it comes to my laptop, I’m a tab hoarder. One thing that I can’t say I’m not proud to be one because I have no problem with having a bunch of tabs opened up at one time. Even so, I need to create space on everything that I own so that my devices can function better and faster.

  • Figure out my word of the year and goals for 2024

This is one goal that I have plenty of time to think about. It’s something that I sometimes either wait until the last minute to think about or take forever to officially narrow down.

That’s all that I have for my first Tuesday Tens post. If anyone that’s reading this post right now has ideas of what they would want me to do a Tuesday ten about, let me know in the comments below. That aside, feel free to let me know what goals you have for the months of November and December. If you would like to read the goals that I had set for 2023 feel free to check it out.
