Blogtober Day 4: 5 Reasons I Love The Fall Season

Let me be real, fall is definitely not my favorite season. In fact, it’s my third favorite. However, I can still say I have some reasons I love the fall season. Below are the five reasons I love it.

Apples and Sweet Potatoes

I’m not a pumpkin person whatsoever. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything pumpkin-flavored, let alone the inside of a pumpkin. Then again, I could be wrong. Now, what I am is a sweet potato pie and most things apple-flavored type of woman. I love myself a good homemade or store-bought sweet potato pie. I also love myself a good Dutch apple pie. I also like apple-flavored sweets. What I could truly go for during the fall season is a candy apple. I used to love them growing up, but I haven’t had one in forever. They’re hard to come by.

The Weather

I’m not the biggest fan of the rain that comes with fall, but I am, however, a fan of how it slowly but surely starts getting cold. As someone who lives in Atlanta, I go through all the seasons in a matter of days. Since fall started, we’ve gone through fall, summer, winter, and spring just like that. If you think I’m joking, I’m unfortunately not. I’m ready for the chilly weather that comes with fall. That’s the type of weather I love on so many levels. However, that won’t fully happen until the end of October, if we’re lucky.

Cozy Season

I mean… Are we surprised? I like to consider myself a cozy blogger (among chaotic, but still!). I love the fact that fall is considered cozy season. I love the thought of being able to wrap myself in a cozy blanket. I love the thought of simply being able to just be at home and nothing else. Granted, I’m an introvert and enjoy being at home in general; I just enjoy cozy season.

Decorations

I don’t mean decorations in the general sense. I more so love and enjoy seeing people put up Halloween decorations. Growing up, I used to love seeing all the Halloween decorations being put up and being showcased in various places. I’m not sure if people still do that anymore in recent years, but usually when they do, it’s a gorgeous view to me.

Blogtober

I couldn’t help but put this as one of the reasons. Blogtober if anything, is a great reason to like and enjoy the fall. To me I’ve been using Blogtober these past two years to challenge myself when it comes to trying to blog more. Also, I love getting to read what others decide to post for Blogtober.

I used to have a love for Vlogtober as well. However, it’s been such a long time since I got on YouTube and actually sat down and watched YouTubers Vlogtober videos.
