Blogtober Day 2: If I Could Wish For Anything

For Blogtober Day 2, I figured I would answer today’s prompt. One, because I love the thought of being granted a wish, and two, because I keep wanting to respond to prompts but keep letting time pass. I think I love it because I’ve always wondered what I would do if I had a magic lamp and could be granted one wish.

It’s kind of a tough question to answer. There are so many things I could wish for if I had a genie. However, the last thing I would ask for is to be famous, one more wish (and that’s not because it goes against the rules most of the time), or money. I know the last one is a bit wild not to want to ask for, but why ask for money when anything could happen to it in the blink of an eye? I’d rather not set myself up for something like that happening.

Back to the question at hand, if I had a genie who granted me one wish, it would be to be successful with what I love doing.

There are many things I love doing such as listening to music, writing, blogging, and more. However, I think I would settle for being a successful writer. I know it would come with conditions and I’m fine with that. However, with the wish I wouldn’t ask for the fame.

I just want to be successful when it comes to being a writer. I know I already have what it takes to be a successful writer through blogging, songwriting, poetry, and things like that, but what’s wrong with an extra push?
