My Never-Ending Fall Bucket List

Fall isn’t my favorite season, but it’s not my least favorite season either. However, there are still things that I’ve always wanted to do during the fall season. I’ve decided to put together a fall bucket list of things I would love to do. These might not all happen this fall, but I’m okay with it. However, I do want to eventually be able to do every one of these at some point.

Update my fall playlist

This is one thing I 100% need to do. Back in 2022, I created a fall playlist called Fall Delights featuring some of my favorite songs that give a cozy or fall vibe and feeling. I’ve updated it here and there, but it’s been a while since I’ve added songs. I plan to add many artists that I have yet to add, and those that I discovered since I last consistently updated it. A few artists include Olivia Dean, Phoebe Bridgers, Halsey, Lorde, Troye Sivan, and Frank Ocean.

Have a Halloween movie marathon

One thing I love during the fall season is watching Halloween movies. I want to start having Halloween movie marathons. If you read my blog post where I answered autumb tag questions, you might’ve read that while I don’t generally like horror movies I do love my fair share of subgenres that fall under horror. However, when I’m speaking of a Halloween movie marathon, I mean more than just horror movies. I want to watch general scary movies, from Disney Channel original movies to others.

Create a Halloween playlist

While I’ve created a fall playlist, I haven’t made one for Halloween. Part of me keeps forgetting to, and the other part has been putting it off for no reason. However, I would love to finally make it happen, either this year or next year. There are so many artists I would love to include on the playlist, including those who fall under the dark pop genre. Generally speaking, some artists I would love to include are Halsey, Snow Wife, The Weeknd, Baby Storme, and Charli XCX.

Visit a haunted house

Haunted houses have always interested me… at least since I was a teen. At some point in my 20s, I visited one. I visited Netherworld Haunted House twice in my 20s, before they changed its location. I had a lot of fun and an amazing time from start to finish. There were moments (many of them) where I got scared, but even so, it was a thrilling experience from start to finish. Honestly, I would love to go back to Netherworld Haunted House. I would also love to visit other haunted houses around Georgia.

Visit a pumpkin patch

From what I can remember, we’ve never had pumpkins in the fall. Also, I have no idea what it’s like carving pumpkins. The thought kind of scares me, as I don’t like using knives or anything of the sort for that matter. However, I won’t let it stop me from one day visiting a pumpkin patch. It seems cool to look through a patch of pumpkins to find the right one. Plus, pumpkin patches make for a beautiful fall photo from what I’ve seen.

Volunteer for Atlanta Pride

If I were doing this in order of how much each interests me, volunteering for Atlanta Pride would be somewhere at the top of the list. Atlanta Pride always happens in October, unlike with other cities. I’ve been contemplating volunteering for Pride for a few years now but have yet to figure out what I would want to do exactly. Additionally, I could volunteer for an organization to assist with passing out items. It’s all up in the air for now.

For now, that’s it for my fall bucket list. I’ll be updating it as time goes on and I think of more things I would love to have on it. What’s on your fall bucket list? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. I’d love to see your playlists after you’re done with them! I’m sure they’d be the perfect accompaniment for my fall baking.
