It’s been a long six months, but we’re here. I’m here. I managed. I had no intention of posting something for my birthday and then disappearing. I wanted nothing more than to get back to posting my monthly recaps along with a bunch of other blog posts.
While I could get mad at myself, that’s not something that I’m going to be easy on myself because it’s what I deserve. Plus, I’ve been, unfortunately, busy for the most part.
July is here, and to make up for my absence, I’ve decided to post a mid-year recap before I get into any other blog posts I want to put out (including a July recap at the end of the month or at the beginning of August).
Mid-Year Reflections
I don’t have many life updates to let y’all in on, but the main and biggest one is the
As I said at the beginning, this year it’s been a long six months. Well, it hasn’t been that long, but still.
I got a new job at a place I didn’t think I would ever be working. So far, I’ve been loving every moment of it, even if a few people there have gotten on my last nerves.
Truthfully, that’s the only thing that truly happened these past few months since the year started… or at least I think it is.
The biggest thing I want to highlight is that my favorite boy band of all time released a brand new single!!!! Who? B2K. I’m so excited about them officially being back together and doing their thing because I’ve been waiting since 2004, after their breakup, for this moment, and it’s finally happening.

Wow, I haven’t thought about In Plain Sight in so long. I used to watch the crap out of USA back in the day. In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Psych. Thanks for bringing back some really good memories.
I’m going to take a break from listening to Dolly Parton to listen to B2K’s new single right now.
Thanks for the blog post, Bestie!
